My journey into photography didn't start with settings and lenses it started with people. Back in Havana, Cuba, I realized I had a natural knack for seeing people at their absolute best. Friends and family would always tell me, "Alexys, how do you manage to find the perfect angle so effortlessly?"
Ten years ago, I brought that warm, vibrant Cuban perspective across the ocean to Prague. Living at the crossroads of these two incredibly distinct cultures has shaped the way I see the world. It allows me to bring a completely fresh, unique perspective to every single frame I shoot. I don’t just take a picture; I capture the energy of the moment.
What started as a natural gift evolved into a deep passion. To back up my artistic eye with flawless technique, I formally trained at the Czech Fotoinstitut and completed a portrait masterclass with the renowned photographer Robert Vano. My camera has taken me on incredible photo expeditions from the landscapes of Georgia to the coasts of Portugal and Spain, allowing me to master light, shadow, and composition in every environment.
